Random Things

This week i saw three movies, so plan to write some junk 'bout 'em.

First was "3 Idiots":
The movie is cool. It depicts the life of three Engineering students. All the fun they have, all the problems they face and how they deal with 'em. It however, as all Indian movies do, does not stop there, and goes a little further to put in some romance and songs and dances. It does provide a very nice assortment of emotions. The change or rather flipping of emotions is something which actually appealed to me. One moment everyone's happy, and the very next moment in a very striking fashion, someone dies, or something terrible happens. Thus creating a plethora of emotions, in a good way though.

The movie has something for everyone, emotions and romance for girls..;) science for geeks, a lesson for elders and comedy for everyone. It has also brought into light the most important topic of 'Importance of gaining knowledge rather than just marks'. Has tried to highlight the scientific and analytical mind we students should have, rather than just the getting good marks idea.

Overall i'd say, they movie is a must watch. Hated Kareena Kapoor though. she's just too ugly.

Anyone who has read the book 'Five Point Someone' by 'Chetan Bhagat' would immediately realize that most of the movie's script was taken from it. And at the end of a successful run, no credit is given to the writer and he very politely, in such a sophisticated manner, which is rather unbelievable, appeals to the director, that he should be acknowledged. I mean, What the FUCK??? how is it possible that a music director had to pay 2 crores to a guy who claimed that he picked two lines from his song and this director who almost lifted the entire movie's script from Chetan Bhagat's novel does not even acknowledge him, forget about payin' money!!

I would clearly say, publicity stunt!!
